Losting weight on a treadmill

Cardiovascular exercises are a must for anyone who wants to burn calories. What are cardio exercises and why are they important in losing weight and ensuring good health?

Cardio exercises are a type of exercise that requires us to produce and burn heat. It relaxes our muscles so that there is improved blood flow in our body. In many cases, the most important use of this type of exercise is weight loss. Other benefits include improved cardiovascular functions, increased bone density, and stress-relief, to name only a few.

There are many forms of cardio workouts and one of the very common activities in gyms are cycling and running on a treadmill. How many calories should you burn on a treadmill though, in order to lose weight and remove fat? Like many cardio exercises, running for about 30 minutes on a treadmill will burn about 300 calories, if you put the speed to about level 5 to 6 Perceived Extortion Scale.

Theoretically, one pound of fat equals 3,500 calories. This is a lot to burn for a person. Does this mean that you will not lose weight even if you stay on a treadmill for an hour daily? The answer is no. In reality, by adjusting your calorie intake, you can run for about 30 minutes and shed the bulge.

Watching what you eat can maximize the effect of running for weight loss. Try to eat high-protein and fiber-rich foods that contain lesser calories. Avoid foods that are high in fat and sodium. Instead of sugary drinks, load up on water and fruit juices. These are high in electrolytes that let you replenish lost fluids.

Running on a treadmill does not guarantee fast results. But with perseverance and proper nutrition, you can shed the bulge in a matter of months. You will reap the fruits of your labor in the end.

Now you want to have more energy, be Healthier, look Younger, lose weight, and cleanse your body, right?
